About the event
Domestic violence is about much more than physical harm. This workshop explores the different forms abuse can take, including emotional and psychological abuse, coercive control, financial abuse and technology-facilitated abuse. We’ll also discuss warning signs, impacts on children and families, barriers to leaving, safety planning and available supports.
This workshop is for everyone. Whether you want to better understand domestic violence, support someone you care about, strengthen your professional knowledge or simply become a more informed community member, you are welcome. No personal experience or sharing is required.
